Top marks again for Senior Associate in Advocates' exam

Senior Associate Lynne Calder has been recognised for achieving the highest mark in the Jersey Testate and Intestate Succession examination, taken in 2020 as part of her studies to qualify as a Jersey Advocate.

At the Law Society annual dinner held on 1 October, Lynne was presented with the Testate and Intestate Succession award by Deputy Bailiff Robert MacRae.

This is the second award as part of her studies. Lynne also achieved the highest mark in the Jersey Law of Contract examination in 2019.

Senior Partner Nuno Santos-Costa commented: 'Collas Crill prides itself on high standards of professional expertise and legal skill. Lynne's achievement is testament to that. Coming top in two disciplines is a fantastic achievement and my sincere congratulations go to her for these results.'

Lynne joined the firm in September 2016 and is part of the Dispute Resolution team, offering specialised private client services. She has significant experience representing high-profile clients in a range of contractual and commercial disputes, the team being the favoured advisor for many of Jersey's high net worth individuals and families on their private, property, trust and family disputes.

Lynne qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2002 and worked in leading UK law firms prior to relocating to Jersey. Lynne was sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court on 4 March 2021 and admitted to the Jersey Bar.
